HURRICANE PROCEDURES AND LINKS
- If we experience a hurricane our first priority is to safeguard your property.
- We will inspect each property.
- We will take whatever action to make it water tight.
- We will notify your insurance company. (Unless you ask us not to do so)
- We will then coordinate all repair effort to repair your property.
- When time permits we will notify you of the damage.
- Our second priority is to be in contact with those that have taken major damage as soon as we are able to do the inspections. We will contact owners with minor damage next.
- Our third priority is to take phone calls after we have safeguarded your property. Typically our office is without phone service for 3 or more days when we are hit by a hurricane.
- Have you reviewed your insurance policies, coverage and limits? If you have not please take the time to do so because property values have increased. The insurance companies will not increase coverage when a tropical storm approaches. We need an update for any insurance changes so we can be authorized to meet with the adjusters. Please fill out and return The Insurance form so our files will be current (even if no change from your last input). You may return the form via email to your property manager or you may fax the form to 850-244-1011 to the attention of your property manager.
- Thanks for your attention and we hope and pray we can make all the preparations and not need them.
- You may check current tropical storm activity at the following websites.
